AIG – AMS Impact Group is honored to serve as the official management organization for the Blytheville School District, bringing a nationally recognized model for school improvement and a deep-rooted commitment to community collaboration. This partnership represents a bold step forward in transforming educational outcomes and restoring pride in Blytheville’s public schools.
Our role extends far beyond traditional administration. We are here to lead a comprehensive revitalization effort aimed at restoring academic excellence, rebuilding trust between schools and families, and inspiring a renewed sense of pride in the community’s educational institutions. This initiative is grounded in the proven practices of the Academies of Math & Science (AMS), whose schools have consistently demonstrated success in raising student achievement and fostering inclusive, high-performing learning environments.
AMS’s approach to education is centered on rigorous academics, particularly in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), alongside character development and meaningful community engagement. These pillars have helped transform schools across the AIG schools, and we are excited to bring this same level of excellence to Blytheville.

From strengthening communities in Arizona to breaking new ground, AMS is expanding its award-winning, high-impact K–8 education model into Las Vegas and Mesa and Fort Smith, AR. In Mesa, we’re transforming the beloved Mesa Arts Academy into AMS Mesa, blending its rich arts heritage with our proven academic excellence. In Las Vegas, our brand-new AMS campus will bring world-class academics, technology, sports, and enrichment to one of the fastest-growing communities in the Southwest and delivering high-quality, well-rounded K-8th education to Fort Smith, AR. Together, these expansions mark a bold step in our mission to inspire, educate, and empower even more students to reach their full potential. The future is bright—and we’re just getting started!

New State-of-the-Art School and Full-Day Care Model Coming to BGCAZ Grant Woods Campus
A bold new chapter is coming to East Valley families: the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley (BGCAZ) and the AMS Impact Group (AIG) are proud to announce that Mesa Arts Academy (MAA) will officially join the Academies of Math and Science (AMS) schools network in Fall 2026.
As part of this exciting transition, AMS is investing millions of dollars into a brand-new, two-story school building at the BGCAZ Grant Woods Campus in Mesa. The state-of-the-art facility will feature modern classrooms, a new playground and athletic field, and space for more than 600 students to learn, grow, and thrive.
“This partnership ensures that students will continue to receive the care and support they deserve—now in a modern learning environment with full-day opportunities for growth,” said Marcia Mintz, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley. “We are proud the Club will remain on campus, continuing to provide after-school care, meals, and summer programming.”
A high-performing public charter school network, AMS shares BGCAZ’s commitment to equity, academic excellence, and whole-child support. Together, the organizations will provide families with a seamless full-day model from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner—all on campus.
Importantly, AMS is committed to embracing and honoring the legacy of Mesa Arts Academy, including its unique focus on the arts, its long-standing culture of community, and its established partnerships that have enriched student experiences for decades. These partnerships will continue to play a vital role in ensuring continuity and trust as the school enters its next chapter.

For the current school year, families can expect no changes: the same teachers, programs, and Club support they already know and trust. Construction on the new school will begin this summer, with families receiving regular updates throughout the process.
This collaboration unites BGCAZ’s decades-long legacy of youth support and enrichment with AMS’s track record of academic excellence and innovation—ensuring every child has the chance to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

AMS Expands to Nevada: Las Vegas Campus Coming Soon in Partnership with AIG Impact Group
We are proud to announce that AIG Impact Group will be partnering with the Academies of Math & Science (AMS) to bring their award-winning curriculum and state-of-the-art campuses to Las Vegas, Nevada. This exciting expansion marks AMS’s first venture into the state of Nevada and represents a major milestone in our continued commitment to educational excellence and innovation.
AMS has earned a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, well-rounded K–8 education that emphasizes academic rigor, character development, and community engagement. With a curriculum rooted in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), AMS schools are designed to prepare students for success in high school, college, and beyond. The Academies of Math & Science, in partnership with AMS Impact Group, is proud to announce that we have officially been awarded Charter Approval to open a brand-new campus in Fort Smith, Arkansas. This marks a significant milestone in our mission to expand access to well-rounded, tuition-free education across the country.
Our new Fort Smith campus will bring AMS’s proven academic model—focused on rigorous STEM instruction, character development, and community engagement—to the heart of western Arkansas. We are thrilled to begin laying the groundwork for what promises to be a transformative educational experience for students and families in the region.
